Somme area - May 2000

British items found almost on the same spot: an 18 pndr. carrying clip (see also Item 2.2), a guncharge primer (T-shape, brass) - officially called Friction T-tube Mark IV - and two large steel transport plugs for 6inch howitzer ammunition.

Italian Dolomites - July 2000

German rifleclip for the M.1888 (in calibre 8x57 I). Clips (known as Laderahmen 88) could contain a maximum of five cartridges. In reasonable condition considering the fact that the thin metal clip has been exposed to the elements for over 80 years!
